Chase grew up in a loving family with three other brothers, his older sister Courtney, his younger brother Connor, and his younger sister Cassidy. The Kalisz family tended to swim, and naturally, a little chase started in them. But a terrible accident made his family wonder if he could walk, let alone swim again.

Chase Kalisz Health issue

He was only eight years at the time and a sports kid. One night he woke up with severe pain in his legs and had to be taken to the hospital. Due to immediate medical attention, Chase may be out for a week but must be transferred to a rehabilitation hospital to ensure his organs are fully functional. Specific treatment in the pool acts as a charm to him. While some patients are discharged from the hospital in 6-8 months, pediatric chases are only released three months.
