Wyatt Teller used to play for his college team, Virginia Tech Hokies during his college days. He was an outstanding performer whose name was included in the All-ACC first team and was also invited to the Senior Bowl of the year 2018. Moreover, he was also a runner-up for the ACC Jacobs Blocking Trophy which was a trophy awarded to the best blocker.

After his college career, he participated in the NFL Combine in which he completed a 40-yard dash in 5.24 seconds and a 20-yard shuttle in 4.84 seconds. Likewise, he completed the three-cone drill in 7.45 seconds and did 30 bench reps. He had the second-best broad jump record with a jump of 9 feet and 6 inches (2.9m/290cms) long and a vertical jump of 29 inches (0.74m/74cms) tall.

Wyatt Teller was picked by the American professional football team, Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the NFL Draft of 2018. He was the 166th pick and joined the team as a reserve guard.
