Nhooph Al-Areebi was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She comes from a Syrian and Iraqi family and grew up in a strict, conservative Muslim home environment. Her parents were refugees. In 2012, she graduated from St. Joseph’s School and went on to attend George Brown College, where she studied to become a nurse. She also attended school to train to become a circus performer. Nhooph Al-Areebi decided she wanted to become a wrestler after watching a WWE RAW wrestling match between  Beth Phoenix and Mickie James on May 5, 2008. Career

Nhooph Al-Areebi wrestled on the independent wrestling scene under the ring name Jasmin Areebi, making her debut for Squared Circle Wrestling (SCW) in Toronto, Canada in January 2013. She wrestled for a variety of wrestling associations in Canada and the United States, including Pure Wrestling Association (PWA), Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), and New England Championship Wrestling (NECW).

Her career made a breakthrough in the prominent wrestling scene when she was offered a contract by the WWE on March 17, 2015. It was reported that Al–Areebi had signed a developmental contract with WWE which was confirmed on April 13. She made her first appearance at an NXT event on May 20, 2015. Nhooph Al-Areebi made her in-ring debut on June 20 during an NXT live event, where she competed in a six-way tag team match. In October of the same year, she was given the ring name Aliyah.

On the April 27 episode of NXT, Aliyah appeared in her first televised singles match, in which she suffered a loss to Carmella. Towards the end of the year, Aliyah debuted her new ring gear and the entrance music, leaving the Arabian gimmick that she had initially used, and picked up her first victory as part of the brand.

On January 3, 2017, Aliyah made her first main roster appearance as she appeared on WWE SmackDown Live and featured in a match that she lost to Carmella. Throughout 2018, Aliyah continued losing to various opponents. In September, Aliyah was officially working as a heel and had started a short alliance with fellow wrestler Lacey Evans. The duo was handed a tag team match in which they were victorious, marking Al-Areebi’s (Aliyah’s) first victory in over a year.

Before joining the WWE and becoming “Aliyah”, Nhooph Al-Areebi was an acclaimed amateur wrestler. She won the GXW Women’s Championship and the Great Canadian Wrestling Women’s Championship. Early Life

Former American football player Devale Ellis was born on April 2, 1984, in Brooklyn, New York, to his parents Troy and Karen Ellis. His father worked as a computer operator for a bank, while his mother was a project manager at the Department of Environmental protection. He went to the James Madison High School in Brooklyn where he completed his secondary schooling. From an early age, he was interested in playing football and basketball and surprisingly excelled in both. In his senior year at the school, he performed amazingly in the Public School Athletic League.

Being selected for Top Ten catches made and Top Ten touchdowns made by a wide receiver (the position he played in), he turned a lot of heads at a young age, earning him the nickname Devale “Show Time” Ellis.

College

After finishing high school,  Devale Ellis went to the Hofstra University in New York for higher education, where he continued to excel in football. He played with New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston who happened to be his college mate at the time. During his days at the university, Ellis made 176 catches and scored 22 points, averaging a 12.5 per-catch average. In 2005, as a senior member of the team, he took Hofstra University to better positions in competitions, making 74 acquisitions for 943 arm-span and scoring five. He was ranked 2nd in the Atlantic in receptions and 3rd in receiving yards. As a rookie, Devale Ellis took the team by the sails with his 74 catches and 13 touchdowns.

Professional Career

He was not selected in the drafts in the 2006 NFL drafts but was later hired as a free agent to play in the rookie minicamp by Detroit Lions. He was assigned to the Lions’ eight-man training squad. Although he showed promise in the opening game of the season, against Seattle Seahawks on September 9, 2006, he was soon deferred from the active roster and sent back to the training squad. On October 15, he was again called up to play against Buffalo Bills and kept making appearances thereafter. But unfortunately on August 30, 2008, the Detriot Lions released Devale Ellis because of financial cuts. 

He stayed out of the football scene for the 2008 season but was hired by Cleaveland Browns mid-season in December 2008. It was said that he’d be placed in the active roster at the beginning of the next season but the team rejected him for reasons undisclosed on July 26, 2009, bringing his footballing career to a premature end.

Acting Career

After abruptly quitting his sports career for good in 2010, Devale Ellis started to work on his acting career. He spent most of his starting years making small guest appearances in TV series and shorts films like Young Like Us, Gotham, and The Mysteries of Laura. In 2017, he got his first lead role in a TV series that ran for 10 episodes. Florian Marku was born in Lushnje, Albania on September 29, 1992. His parents moved to Greece from Albania when he was little, however, he still holds an Albanian nationality. He started his boxing career in the town of Thessaloniki in Greece and later on was trained by George Armagos to become a kickboxer, an art in which he excelled.

Florian Marku made his MMA debut on 9 October 2016 at the Greek Fighting Championship. He went on to win 3 more matches in the competition.
