Information about Marcia Aoki’s life and childhood is not widely disclosed to the general public. Although reports of their affair only started to circulate after 2008, when the two met each other, which was their second encounter, it is believed that Pele and Marcia Aoki met for the first time in New York City when the two were there, separately for their different purposes, all the way back in 1980. The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company but things didn’t progress further as Pele was a married man and her too.
Marriage
In 2008, Marcia Aoki and Pele met each other, as surprising it may sounds, in an elevator. The two were surprised seeing each other after such a long time, it was a stroke of coincidence. The two caught up on their lives and got to know more about each other. Marcia Aoki by the time had been going through a rough divorce, during which Pele seemed to provide a shoulder. They soon started seeing each other on a regular basis and Pele too soon left his wife Assiria being fully involved with Marcia.
After dating intensely and securing their bond for more than 8 years, Marcia Aoki and Pele decided to get married in 2016. The wedding ceremony was held in a private ceremony in Sao Paulo, Brazil, without much pomp, attended only by their close friends and family. So far, the couple does not have any children. Pele has been known to be involved in affairs with many women throughout his life, even when he was married. He has openly stated that his wives were aware of his infidelity.
