Net Worth

Given that the NBA seldom publishes coaching compensation for either head or assistant coaches, estimating Penberthy’s net worth is one of the more difficult issues to deal with. His unreported payments previous to his coaching profession make it much more difficult to understand his assets and monetary benefits from his playing days.

It is known that the average salary for all NBA coaches and scouts at the college, university, and professional levels were around $100,000, with the top earners reportedly earning as much as $750k to even $1 million per year.

In the NBA, assistant coach wages are largely influenced by factors such as the team’s money, reputation, and coaching experience. With the Lakers being one of the richest teams in the NBA and Mike Penberthy’s earnings must be earning in the neighborhood of $500,000 a year.
