Jared Vanderaa made his professional UFC fighting debut against John Rizoo at KOTC – Sanctioned on June 14, 2015. In the first round, he won by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke). At Smash Global – The Main Event 2, he fought Daylin Murray and defeated him by TKO.

Jared won three games against Joe Hernandez, Mychal Clark, and Sean Johnson the next season.

He began 2017 by competing in LFA 15 – Odoms vs. Vanderaa, where he faced Richard Odoms. He was defeated via submission (Kimura). He bounced back from the setback and fought at GKO 10 – Global Knockout 10 on August 5, 2017. He was able to submit his opponent and win the fight (Straight Ankle Lock).
