The Washington Mystics drafted Sug Sutton with the 36th overall pick in the 2020 WNBA draft. She was dropped by the Mystics on May 25th, just before the season began. The Mystics re-signed her on August 16, midway through the season. She made her WNBA debut on August 19th, scoring her first WNBA points in a win over the Atlanta Dream.
