They married on Christmas Day in 2016, and Aliyah Anne, their first child, was born on December 30 of the same year. On February 17, 2018, the pair celebrated their wedding day. Poyer and Bush’s romance reached a hitch in the summer of that year. This was owing to Poyer’s suspected involvement with Summer Rae, a college student. For a time, the couple appeared to be reconciled, until Rae claimed in 2018 that Poyer had told her he was getting divorced from Bush before initiating a relationship with her. During the affair, reports claimed that Rae and Bush had exchanged some furious text messages.

Later, Bush issued a statement claiming that Rae was the one who was insanely fascinated with Bills No. 21 and was continuously contacting him.
