Emily Nelson started her professional career in 2013 while competing in UCI Junior Track World Championships. At that time, she was part of the Britain team along with Amy Hill, Hayley Jones, and Emily Kay.
Her team did an excellent job and broke the world record which was previously set at European Track Championships. It was an amazing beginning for nelson as a junior cyclist.
A year later, nelson again competed in UEC European Junior Track Championships on where she again managed to secure the 1st position.
Day by day, Emily’s skills are increasing and she starts to push even further to achieve her goal to become the best cyclist ever.
Saying that nelson participates in UCI Track World Cup back in 2016. During the overall season, she wins the Team pursuit (Glasgow) and came to send in the Team pursuit (Hong Kong) and 3rd in the points race.
Following the same year, Emily again competes in UEC European Under-23 Track Championships on where she won the Team pursuit and came in 2nd place in the Points race.
In 2017, nelson starts the race along with Katie Archibald in 6 Giorni Delle Rose – Fiorenzuola and wins the round. Likewise, she again competes in National Track Championships and manages to secure 1st place in the Team pursuit, 2nd in both (Individual pursuit and Points race), and 3rd in Omnium.
Furthermore, Emily has won the gold medal at the 2018 Apeldoorn Madison race for the first time. It was the most memorable moment after achieving the bronze and silver medals.
She didn’t look back at all and again participates in the 2019 Apeldoorn Scratch race on where she again won the gold medal makes her 2 times gold medalist in the cycling sport.
