Jeremiah’s professional boxing career began on October 11, 2013, when he faced David Shinuna in his first fight. He easily won the fight by TKO, claiming his first victory. When he fought Tebogo Kagiso on December 6, 2013, he won for the second time.
Following two consecutive victories, he gained confidence and went on to win nine of his next ten bouts. Fighters like Manfred Haimbanga, David Egumbo, Patrick Seoko, Wilson Masamba, and Jasper Seroka were among the opponents he defeated. He won the interim WBO Africa Super Feather Title when he defeated Jaster Seroka.
When Jeremiah Nakathila met Evgeny Chuprakov on November 18, 2016, he lost for the first match in his career. He not only lost the fight, but he also missed out on a shot at the vacant WBO Intercontinental Super Feather Title. Despite a significant setback, he persevered and finally returned to winning ways.
On September 9, 2017, he won the WBO Africa Super Feather Title by defeating Said Mohamed Hassan.
