    JJ Henry, also known as Ronald Henry, is a well-known American golfer. He became a professional in 1998 and played on the PGA Tour for almost two decades. Henry began his professional career on the Nationwide Tour and the Web.com Tour. JJ Henry has won three PGA tour events and one Korn Ferry Tour.

    Ronald Henry III was born April 2, 1975, in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is the son of Ron Henry and his better half, Nancy. JJ Henry’s father also played golf in his young days and caught his father. After completing high school, Ronald played golf at Texas Christian University. Henry stands six feet tall and weighs in at 91 kg.

    JJ Henry Golf Career

    Henry was born in Fairfield, Connecticut. While studying at Texas Christian University, he was a single runner in the 1998 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship and became a pro later. He became part of the Nationwide Tour in 1999, and after winning the Buy.com 2000, Knoxville Open advanced to the PGA Tour in 2001. His first PGA Tour victory came in 2006 at the Buick Championship; he became the first Connecticut golfer to win the event. In addition, he played for the 2006 Ryder Cup team, splitting half of the three teams he participated in.

    Henry approached the 2012 Byron Nelson Championship, where he had one shot-lead with two holes to play. A double bogey in the 71st minute led to him finally finishing two strokes after the winner Jason Dufner. Towards the end of the year, Henry won for the second time on the PGA Tour at Reno – Tahoe Open. The event utilized Stableford’s modified scoring system, and Henry won by one point to Brazil’s Alexandre Rocha. He got into the PGA Championship the following week. After finishing at 158th in the 2018 FedEx Cup, Henry became the first player to take advantage of the one-time release of the PGA Tour for those who cut at least 300, six top-ranked positions higher than the previous champion category.
