    Lee Kiefer is an American foil fencer expert and a four-time NCAA champion, ten-time Pan American team champion, 9-time individual Pan American champion, 2018 team three-time champion I -Olympian, and the 2021 Olympic Games Medalist.

    She is very diligent and determined in relation to her work without any problem, and she continues to move forward. As a result, Kiefer is one of the wealthiest fencers in the United States and ranks among the most popular fencers. Kiefer is one of the most successful Fencer and won a gold medal at the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2021; Kiefer is the first American woman to win a gold medal in each Olympic foil.

    Lee Kiefer Early Life

    On June 15, 1994, Lee was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, to Dr. Steven Kiefer and Dr. Teresa Oropilla Kiefer. Steven is a neurosurgeon and former captain of the Duke University team, and Teresa is a pediatrician and psychiatrist from Tagum City, Philippines. Getting started was not easy, starting in the dining room of Kiefer’s home in Lexington. Under the watchful eye of her father Steve Lee and her brother Axel and her sister Alex they went. At the age of 5, Lee hated fencing because of the heavy fencing equipment because it was easy to carry. However, time is running out, and he loves it as we showcase her talent.

    Lee and her sister Alex Kiefer and former Havard foil fencer champion and 2011 NCCA champion, currently, is a doctor. Her brother Axel was also a National champion at the 2015 Fencing USA National Championship; Axel went and fenced the fence of the University of Notre Dame and came second in the 2019 NCAA Championship.

    Lee Kiefer Carrer

    Kiefer was the youngest member of the world senior team in 2009, just 15 years old. She won a bronze medal at the Senior World Championships. Lee also won silver medals in both Junior and Cadet Worlds. Kiefer finished fifth at the 2012 London Olympics after losing to Arianna Errigo in the quarter-finals. She won the Algiers World Cup in early 2015 after defending No. 1 international Arianna Errigo. After getting a victory in the Long Beach Grand Prix in 2017, she became the first woman to hold the 1st position in the FIE world ranking.

    Lee Kiefer represented the United States by fencing off the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo in 2021. Not only did she reach the finals, but Lee Kiefer also won a gold medal against Inna Deriglazova. She is the first American female, to win a gold medal in each Olympic foil.

    Lee Kiefer is married to Gerek Meinhardt, who was born on July 27, 1990. Kiefer and Gerek met at the Beijing Olympics, where Gerek represented Team USA. They started dating in January 2012. Gerek proposed to Kiefer in January 2018, and a year after they got engaged on September 1, 2019, they got married in Versailles, Kentucky. The two have been together for ten years now, and their relationship is getting stronger every day.

    Due to the pandemic, the couple trained under their parent’s room before qualifying for the Summer Olympics. Lee and Gerek are studying medicine at the University of Kentucky.
