Lyndon Arthur was born on June 13, 1991, in Manchester, England, under the sign of Gemini. Information regarding his childhood and family is not revealed.
Lyndon Arthur competed out of Collyhurst & Moston ABC as an amateur and had roughly 50 fights. He competed in several national championships, including the ABA National Development Championships at 86 kg in 2012-13, when he was defeated in the final by Jermaine Kelly. However, Lyndon Arthur won the ABA Senior Development Championships in 2013-14 and advanced to the finals of the 2014 and 2016[6] ABA Elite Championships, losing to Joshua Buatsi and Tom Whittaker-Hart, respectively. At the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester on November 4, 2017, he defeated Tayar Mehmed by disqualification (DQ).
Lyndon Arthur faced Emmanuel Anim for the vacant Commonwealth light-heavyweight championship on October 12, 2019, at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, after collecting a 15–0 (12 KO) record. Arthur felled his opponent in the fourth round en route to a unanimous decision victory in a bout that went over six rounds for the first time in his professional career.
Lyndon Arthur was supposed to fight Anthony Yarde on April 11, 2020, but the COVID-19 outbreak forced the battle to be rescheduled for December 5, 2020. Lyndon Arthur retained his Commonwealth light-heavyweight title and won the vacant WBO Inter-Continental light-heavyweight title by a split decision over Yarde. Arthur had his WBO Inter-Continental light-heavyweight title on July 10, 2021, when he stopped fellow undefeated fighter Davide Faraci in the ninth round.
