Adolis Garcia and his older brother both began playing baseball at a young age. Garcia played baseball for his High School team before beginning his professional career, and he was one of the top players on the team. He began his career with the Ciego de Avila in the Cuban National Series.

 In 2016, the Cuban signed with the Nippon Professional Baseball League’s Yomiuri Giants. Garcia emigrated from Cuba in 2016 and received a non-roster invitation to spring training with the St. Louis Cardinals in February 2017. Adolis ended the season with a.290 batting average, 15 home runs, and 65 runs batted in between the Springfield Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League.

Adolis Garcia made his MLB debut in 2018, appearing in 112 games for Memphis. He batted.256 during the season, with 22 home runs, 71 RBIs, and ten stolen bases, and he hit.118 in 21 games for St. Louis. Garcia relocated to Texas in 2019.
