Early life and childhood

Toni Collins was born in California to journalist Mara Antonieta Collins and has always been a sports fan. Collins returned to the United States after spending her early youth in Mexico, where Antonietta Collins played soccer at Saint Brendan High School in Miami. Collins’ mother was working on an article on the USA Women’s Soccer Team the same weekend as her senior prom. Collins packed her belongings and joined her mother to report on the news instead of attending prom. Antonietta Collins was working as a reporter for the first time in a professional setting. Collins was invited to play for Mexico’s U-19 soccer team not long after the interview.

The Mexican beauty worked as a sports journalist for a number of TV channels and radio stations before earning a job at ESPN. Collins worked as a production assistant at Florida-based networks in particular.
