    Bones Hyland is a growing American basketball player. He played in the Atlantic 10 conference of Virginia Commonwealth University men’s basketball team, the VCU Rams. Nahshon is currently playing in his final year. Hyland was titled the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in the 2021 year and made the first All-Atlantic 10 team in 2021.

    Nah’Shon Hyland who is also known as Bones Hyland, was born on September 14, 2000, in Wilmington, Delaware. Hyland is one of two children born to Marshay Hayland and her husband. Hyland has an older brother named Tykee. Nah’Shon Hyland graduated from St George’s Tech in 2019 and then enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University. Hyland stands at six feet and three inches and weighs 78 kgs.

    Bones Hyland Career

    Hyland started playing basketball, looking after his older brother, Tyler, play in the park. His nickname was “Bizzy Bones” or “Bones” in part because of his small stature. Hyland studied at St. Georges Technical High School in Middletown, Delaware. At a young age, his cousin and his 11-month-old grandmother died in a house fire.

    Hyland jumped from his second-floor bedroom and suffered from a torn patellar bone, which he kept for six months. As a top man, he averaged 26.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per game, taking his team to the semifinals of the state tournament. He was awarded the name Delaware Player of the Year and received first-team All-State honors. A four-star hire, he is committed to playing VCU college basketball in addition to offerings from Saint Joseph, Rhode Island, La Salle, Boston College, Conn, and Temple.

    On January 18, 2020, Hyland scored 21 new points in the new season and three-pointers in a 91-63 victory over St. Louis. Bonaventure. As a newcomer, he averaged nine points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 rebounds assisting each game, earning the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team recommendation. He shot 43.4 percent in the three-point range and set up a new freshman program with three 63-pointers. In his first season of last season, on November 25, Hyland scored 23 points, making five three-pointers, in an 85-69 win over Utah State.

    On December 9, he scored 30 points, shooting 7-of-12 from a three-point range, in a 95-59 win over North Carolina A&T. Six days later, Hyland posted the highest career scores in a 93-68 win over Western Carolina. On March 5, 2021, he recorded 30 points and ten rebounds in a 73-68 victory against Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinals. As a second student, Hyland averaged 19.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.9 points per game and was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Year. On April 17, 2021, he announced the 2021 NBA framework, relinquishing his college eligibility. On July 29, 2021, Hyland was listed 26th overall in the 2021 NBA election still underway by the Denver Nuggets, becoming the first VCU election in 11 years.
