    Can Xu Career

Xu became a champion in 2013. His first 14 battles were finally decided, and he won 12 of them. In his 15th fight on the date October 3, 2017, he recorded his first standing victory against former WBA (Regular) champion Nehomar Cermeño, winning by retiring in the seventh corner. This success saw Xu take the vacant WBA International featherweight title. On January 26, 2019, Xu successfully defeated former WBA interim champion Jesús Rojas unanimously by 118-110, 117-111, 116-112, to win the title of WBA (Regular) featherweight.

Excited, Xu offered his nation a victory: “My power came from China. It was because of my country.” The battle was notable for its high performance, with both men throwing more than 1,200 fists each night. Xu won two successful title defenses before the end of 2019, defeating Shun Kubo in the sixth round on May 26 and Manny Robles III in unanimous agreement, by a majority of 120-108, 119-109, 118-110, on November 23. The talks were held in 2020 and early 2021 to get Xu to defend his third title against then-IBF champion Josh Warrington.

However, the war was postponed due to disagreements on both sides: Xu wanted supporters present in the war, and Warrington refused to leave the United Kingdom to fight on Chinese soil. Furthermore, the chances of Xu’s fight with Warrington were significantly reduced when Warrington relinquished his IBF title and lost to Mauricio Lara. The latter was not announced in February 2021, when Lara ousted him in a defeat.

On July 6, 2021, it was informed that Xu would be defending his WBA (Ordinary) title against British featherweight champion Leigh Wood in Brentwood, England, on July 31 as part of Matchroom’s Fight Camp. Although he was a favorite of 350, Xu was sent to the box during the war and was defeated angrily by a twelfth knockout.

    Can Xu Personal Life

Unlike many celebrities, Xu Can seems to move his private life away from public and media access. However, he is available on social media and posts with his training photos and videos most of the time. It seems that the boxer is enjoying his life alone and that he should be focused on his job and not on his love life. Or maybe, he chooses his love life behind the camera.
