    Miguel Angel Bercheit Cervera, also known as Miguel Berchlet, is a Mexican professional boxer. Miguel Berchelt decided to turn professional in 2010; he held the WBC super featherweight title since 2017. Currently, he is graded the world’s best active super featherweight from the BoxRec, The Ring, and Transaction Boxing Rankings. He was nicknamed El Alacran (“The Scorpion”) after his performance in his boxing career. Miguel Berchelt was born on 17th November 1991 in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Coincidently his horoscope is Scorpio. He holds a Mexican nationality. The twenty-nine years old has been awarded different awards to date.

    On 10th November 2010, Miguel Berchelt made his professional debut, where he defeated Armin Chan via TKO in round one. After that, he had a series of continuous 15 wins and eventually won his career’s first title, WBC Youth Intercontinental super featherweight title, on 7th September 2012 in opposition to Berman Sanchez. He retained the title in the following fight against Oliver Flores. After that, he managed to have three more wins but unfortunately faced his career first loss on 15th March 2014; Luis Eduardo Florez defeated him via TKO.

    Miguel Berchelt tried out for the football club, which he supported as a child Pumas UNAM, but could not do well at the age of 16. He turned to the box after being rejected. During his amateur career, he won three time Mexican National Boxing Champion in the Elite class. Unfortunately, Berchelt never got a chance to represent his country internationally as Óscar Valdez was the prominent boxer in the featherweight division at the time. But Berchelt and Óscar never faced each other as amateurs.
