History

There was a bid which was opened in the National Football League on December 15, 1987, in Carolina. One of the most successful businessmen and entrepreneurs, Jerry Richardson was a American Football Craze. He was inspired by George Shinn, the man who founded one of the greatest basketball teams of all time, Charlotte Hornets. He organized a preseason game in Carolina and selected the players according to their capacity.

Watching this, Richardson formed a new professional American Football team known as Carolina Panthers. Richardson hired Dom Capers as the first head coach of the team. Carolina Panthers participated in the NFL in 1995. They entered the NFL alongside Jacksonville Jaguars. The Panthers won the first match with a lead of 7-9. The second season was the most entertaining season as they won the NFC West division with a huge Record of 12-4.

Head Coaches

The Carolina Panthers have had a total of six head coaches since 1995. They hired Dom Capers as the first head coach of the team. Caper was formerly a coordinator to another popular American team known as Pittsburgh Steelers. He finished his career in 2998 securing the record of 31-15. After the departure of Caper, they hired George Seifer in 199. He resigned from the post in 2001.the record that he held during his coaching period was 16 wins and 32 loses.

After George, John Foz, handled the team. He handled the team from 2002 to 2010. After John Ron Rivera, trained the team from 2011 to 2019. The current head coach of this team is Matt Rhule. He has been handling his team since January 7, 2020.
