It was after his performance of rushing for “2,788 yards”, touchdowns of 38, and achieving an average of 809 yards per attempt.

    Derrick Henry succeeded to achieve 34 scores and rushing of “2,610 yards” during his junior year in 2011. He succeeded to attain a “Florida High School” record of 510 yards. It was during the match against the team “Jacksonville Jackson.” His scores were 327.8 yards per game and 9.2 yards per carrying during his senior year. He even finished the season by achieving a state record of “touchdowns of 55” and 4,261 yards.

    Likewise, Derrick was also part of the football team of the “University of Alabama” between 2013 and 2015.  During his freshman year, he achieved touchdowns of three, 382 yards, and carriers of 36. Derrick rushed for 100 yards during the “2014 Sugar Bowl.” His record during the “Sophomore Year” was 900 yards along with touchdowns of 11 and 172 carriers in 2014.

    The professional career of Derrick began after he joined the “Tennessee Titans” in the “2016 NFL Draft.” He signed a contract with the team for four years on 9th May 2016. It was a deal of $5.40 million with a guaranteed amount of $3.30 million. He received a signing bonus of $2.13 million. He began his NFL journey against the “Minnesota Vikings” in the opening match of 2016. 

    His team lost the match. His record by the end of the match was carriers of five for three yards along with receptions of two for 41 yards. Derrick finished his “Rookie Season” of 110 carriers in a total of 490 yards along with two starts and touchdowns of five in a total of 15 games.     Likewise, Derrick Henry succeeded to achieve a “career-best” of 131 yards with 19 carriers, and a touchdown of 72 of the time on “Monday Night Football” on 16th October 2017. It was the match during the “Indianapolis Colts.” His team succeeded to finish the “AFC South” in the second position. He finished the 2017 season with a record of five touchdowns, rushing yards of 744, and starts of two in a total of the 15 games. 

    Derrick became the “Ninth Player” in the NFL history to achieve a touchdown of 4+ and 200+ yards in the 2018 season.  He also achieved the “AFC Offensive Player of the Week.” His record was 1,059 rushing yards, rushing touchdowns of 12, and receptions of 15 by the end of the 2018 season. Derrick Henry became the “first rushing Champion” in the 2019 season. He signed a new contract with the team on 15th July 2020. It was a deal of $50 million.
