Desmond started his college football career as a redshirt. Soon after joining the team, Desmond becomes the Bearcats’ starting quarterback and has passed 2,445 yards along with 20 touchdowns gaining five touchdowns as a redshirt freshman. The year, he was recorded as the ACCA Rookie of the Year.
Later, as a Sophomore in his university football program, Desmond has passed a total of 2,164 yards and has completed 179 of 325 passes and 18 touchdowns in total.
Desmond was also named Walter Camp Offensive Player of the week in the 2020 season. Along with that, he has also won the title of Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the week.
