    Gunnar Hoglund Injury in 2021

It is reported that Hoglund’s work with Ole Miss could end with an elbow injury. On May 18, 2021, he underwent surgery by surgeon Dr. James Andrews. The recovery rate from Tommy John’s surgery is high (80-90%), but the recovery process is complicated. Hoglund usually will take 12-14 months to recover from that injury. Unfortunately, that means he may not start his Minor League career until the end of the 2022 season.
