Ilaix Moriba was born in Conakry, Guinea’s capital, on January 19, 2003, to a Guinean mother Aissata Kourouma, and a Liberian father Mamadi Kourouma. Starting his football Career

Ilaix Moriba, a Guinean native, joined Barça from Espanyol’s youth system when he was seven years old. He began his career in the Under-9s C team and soon advanced to the Under-10s Aside. He was a league champion with the Under-10s A, Under-11s C, Under-12s A, Under-13s B, Under-13s A, Under-15s B, and Under-16s A teams, as well as a winner of the LaLiga Promises International tournament in Miami in 2015.
