Jalen Duren Early Life
Jalen Duren was born on November 18, 2003, in New Castle, Delaware. He is the son of Aneisea Hudgins (Mother) who has been supporting duren career as a basketball from the beginning. A mother’s love for her son’s career is the best thing in the world.
He went to the Roman Catholic high school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. Similarly, he was committed to the Memphis college basketball team.
Duren doesn’t only love to play basketball at a young age, he also loves to give his time to football and baseball. He used to play all three games simultaneously from the beginning because he was still not sure which sport should he choose at that time.
But as he grew older, he is more interested in basketball rather than football and baseball. So, he started focusing on his basketball practice in order to improve his skills and technique.
When Duren is in 8th grade he participates in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) circuit and played with his team. During the whole game, his performance was excellent so the team manages to win the match (MADE League).

Jalen Duren is the dominant player in his college. He started his basketball career from his high school at Roman Catholic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Duren played basketball with the AUU teammate Justice Williams who is a four-star guard justice.
In high school, he used to score an average of 12.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in each and every game. He was a freshman during that time but still manage to score good points for the team. In addition, Duren also prints his name as “MaxPreps Freshman All-American” and also received a first-team all-league along with second-team all-state honors because of his play.

In the final match, he scores a hit of 20 points, 6 rebounds along with 8 blocks, and wins by 62-51 in the quarter-final match against Pennridge. Unfortunately, the final match got canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, Duren also competed in the 2019 FIBA Under 16 Americas Championship held in Belem, Brazil, and win the gold medal. It was the first national team career of Duren at such a young age.
Recently in June 2021, Jalen Duren commits to Memphis and reclassify for 2021. He is now playing against the Kentucky Wildcats, Miami Hurricanes, and NBA G-League in the final.
