    Justice Sueing attended Maryknoll School near his hometown for his freshman and sophomore years. Then for better opportunities, he moved to California and transferred to Mater Dei High School. Sueing spent his junior and senior season at Mater Dei playing basketball. Sueing was teammates with BolBol, Spencer Freedman, and Michael Wang and played alongside them.

    In his junior season, Sueing set an average of 10.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Later in his senior season, his performance improved to averaging 17 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

    In the recruit star ratings, 247Sports ranked him 206 with a three-star rating from 247Sports and Rivals; however, ESPN gave Sueing a four-star rating. After his time in high school, Sueing was offered to play for Utah and Vanderbilt. But committed to playing for California on February 1, 2017.

    College Highlights

    Justice Sueing attended the University of California in 2017 and started playing representing the university. Sueing played 32 games except for the one game in his freshman season. He set an average of 13.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and secured a career-high 27 points in a match against Washington.

    In his sophomore season, Sueing again started every game except for one. In the season, he set an average of 14.3 points and six rebounds per game in 31 games. His most successful match was against Arizona, where he matched his career-high with 27 points.

    On April 7, 2019, after the former head coach Wyking Jones got fired, Sueing declared his intent to transfer to another university. Later on May 22, 2019, he stated he was moving to Ohio State. In his years as a junior, Sueing set an average of 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, and he scored 19 points and eight rebounds in his first game at Ohio State.

    Unfortunately, an abdominal injury forced him to miss out on several games after it was announced on November 18, 2021.
