Nkrumah Bonner, aka Nkruman Eljego Bonner, was born on January 23, 1989, in Saint Catherine, Jamaica. Nkrumah has a younger brother Jonathan Mitchum Bonner. However, he has managed to keep his personal life away from the media.

The Player had to spend the next few critical years playing in the home leagues. Bonner played for the Jamaica Tallawahs from 2013 to 2016. Nkrumah joined the Leeward Islands midfield and played with the team until the 2017/18 season.
