    Rahmanullah Gurbaz is a professional cricket player representing Afghanistan in international tournaments. He is a right-handed player whose primary role is to beat the Wicketkeeper. He is the first Afghan batsman to hit the 16th overall in his first ODI match. It faced Ireland on January 21, 2021. He recorded 127 runs in that game.

    The Afghani striker played for the first time in Afghanistan on January 27, 2017, against Zimbabwe. He is the second player to have multiple runs in the first game, and the youngest 6th player had scored 100 when he was 19 and 54 days old. At T20, he is the 11th player who has the most runs in innings taken by a wicketkeeper.

    Gurbaz made his first List A for Afghanistan A against Zimbabwe A during a visit to Zimbabwe on January 27, 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut against the Mis Ainak Knights in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League on September 12, 2017. He made his first first-class match for the Miss Ainak Region 2018 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament on March 1, 2018. In September 2018, Gurbaz was named in the Paktia team in the first round of the Afghanistan Premier League. In November 2019, Rahmanullah was selected to play for the Khulna Tigers in the 2019-20 Bangladesh Premier League.

In August 2019, Gurbaz was named to Afghanistan’s Twenty20 International (T20I) team in the 2019-20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series. He played his first T20I match in Afghanistan, against Zimbabwe, on September 14, 2019. In January 2021, Gurbaz was selected for Afghanistan’s One Day International (ODI) team against Ireland. He made his ODI debut in Afghanistan, playing against Ireland, on January 21, 2021, scoring 127 runs, becoming the first Afghan player to hit the first 100 ODI and 16th overall. In September 2021, he was selected to the Afghan team for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
