    Trent Frazier is a Professional American college basketball player in the Big Ten Conference. Trent plays as a point guard for the Illinois Fighting Illini. He led the new Big Ten Conference on all goals, assists, three points per game, and steals in his new season with Illinois.

    In 2021, Trent was included in the Big Ten All-Defensive Team for his special performance throughout the season.

    While in high school, he led Wellington High School to the 8A Florida High School Athletic Association tournament. However, his most memorable performance was against Hagerty High School when he hit a free throw game that won one point ahead of Hagerty.

    Trent Frazier Early Life

    Trent Frazier was born September 8, 1998, in Boynton Beach, Florida, United States, and his birthmark is Virgo. Trent was born to Rodnell Frazier’s parents and Tineal Gomez’s.

    They were a big supporter of Trent playing basketball. Frazier Sr. trained his son Trent at a local training center. An American security guard attended Wellington Community High School in Florida, where he played as a security guard.

    There he played under coach Matt Colin. Frazier is currently committed to Illinois and plays under Stephen F. Austin. As of 2021, Trent is only 23 years old and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He weighs 79 kg.

    As a second student, Frazier led Wellington High School to the 8A Florida High School Athletic Association basketball tournament and hit a free 0.4-second free game to win 57-56 at Hagerty High School.

    Trent Frazier played under the famous hoops coach and 8A coach, Matt Colin. In his senior season, Frazier averaged 27.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assistants, leading Wellington to a 27-4 record and emerging Florida Class 9A State Semifinals.

    Following his official visit to Illinois, Frazier made a verbal commitment to the program and former head coach John Groce on August 21, 2016. Trent considered offers from Baylor, Maryland, Kansas State, and Seton Hall during his tenure.

    In March 2017, Frazier confirmed his decision to play college basketball in Illinois after the sacking of John Groce and head coach Brad Underwood was hired away from Oklahoma State. In addition, Frazier pointed out that his contacts with his future teammates in Illinois and Underwood had hired Frazier.

    At the same time, he was head coach at Stephen F. Austin, which contributed to committing to Illinois. On February 8, 2018, Frazier scored 32 high points against Wisconsin at the State Farm Center.

    Frazier’s 32 points were the third-highest point ever scored by a newcomer to the United States in one game in Illinois history, followed by only Deon Thomas and Kiwane Garris. They are the first second-leading scorers in Illinois.

    Trent Frazier scored 27 points against Iowa, including a three-point win to send the game into extra time. Frazier led the entire Big Ten Conference youth in scoring, assists, theft, and three points per game, winning All-Freshman team conference awards and honorary Honorable Mention during his new season.

    He scored 13.7 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game.
