Doneil Henry, also known as Doneil Jor-Dee Ashley Henry, is a professional Canadian soccer player presently playing for the Los Angeles Football Club.

He is currently a center-back with the Los Angeles Football Club in Major League Soccer and a member of the Canadian National Team.

Henry began his professional soccer career in 2010 with Toronto Football Club and has since played for several European clubs.

Doneil Henry formerly played for Suwon Samsung Bluewings, a South Korean football team, before joining Los Angeles FC. Henry was a member of the team from the year 2020 to the year 2021.

Doneil Henry Career

Henry started playing soccer when he was just 10 years old and later enrolled with a few soccer youth clubs, including Brampton Youth Soccer Club, North Mississauga Soccer Club, and Toronto Football Club.

Doneil joined the Toronto football club in November of the year 2008 and worked as a team captain for two seasons in Canadian Soccer League from the year 2009 to 2010.

Henry became the first TFC academy player to sign for the first team after signing with Toronto Football Club on 26^th August 2010.

Henry scored his first goal for Toronto FC on 28^th April 2012 against Real Salt Lake.

Doneil joined Apollon Limassol after being sold to the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League and Cypriot First Division in April of 2014.

He later signed a contract with West Ham United on 3^rd January of 2015 for an undisclosed amount fee. However, the contract was later canceled with a mutual decision after Henry appeared in a few games for the club.

Doneil Henry was loaned by West Ham United to Blackburn Rovers for one month in Football League Championship on 4^th March of 2015, where he made his debut on the same day giving a 2-1 win for the club against Sheffield Wednesday.

He was also loaned to AC Horsens by West Ham for a half-season on 31^st August 2016.

Doneil signed a contract with Vancouver Whitecaps Football club on 22^nd December 2017 and Suwon Samsung Bluewings on 20^th November 2019.

Doneil Henry joined Los Angeles Football Club in February of 2022, making his debut for the club on 26^th February.
