Drew Gulak started his professional wrestling career at the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) Wrestling Academy in early 2004. On September 10, 2005, he made his professional wrestling debut, winning a battle royal in honor of Chris Cash. This 6-foot tall professional wrestler won the CZW World Tag Team Championship twice with Andy Summer. Since the squad disbanded in 2009, he competed in the CZW Wired TV Championship, beating Tyler Veritas.
He successfully defended the title for 429 days against Nick Gage, Zack Sabre Jr., Rich Swann, and Sumner. Drew lost the Wired TV Championship to AR Fox on June 11, 2011. He defended his CZW World Heavyweight Championship against Masada on August 10, 2013, and won. He lost the title to Biff Busick after just a few months as champion.
