Eliah Drinkwitz is a professional American football coach who is currently the head coach of the Missouri Tigers. His team represents the University of Missouri situated in Columbia, Missouri.

He previously worked as the head coach at Appalachian State University in 2019 and as an assistant coach at North Carolina State University, Boise State University, Arkansas State University, and Auburn University.

Per MU Tigers, Eliah began coaching at the preparatory level in Alma, Ark., 2005. After spending a year in Alma, Eliah Drinkwitz joined Springdale High School in 2006 and was there till 2009 as an offensive coordinator (OC).

In 2009, he moved to Auburn to work on football operations as the Quality Control (QC) coach, where his contribution led the Tigers to win the SEC in 2010 and advanced on to the BCS Championship that season with a perfect 14-0 record.

Eliah Drinkwitz left Auburn after the end of the 2010-11 season and signed with Arkansas State in 2012. He was an integral part of the Red Wolves back-to-back Sun Belt Championships in 2012-13 as the running backs coach and co-offensive coordinator.

Eliah Drinkwitz was appointed as the tight ends (TE) coach by Boise State for two years in 2014. During his time at Boise, the Broncos won the Mountain West title in 2014, finished 12-2, and ranked 16th nationally.

In 2015, he got a promotion from TE to OC and quarterbacks (QB) coach. Furthermore, he assisted the Bronco offense rank in the top 15 nationally in points (39.1) and yards (501.3) per game.

After sharing a successful moment at Boise State, he joined NC State in 2016. Eliah Drinkwitz aided the Wolfpack to straight nine-win seasons 2017-18 for the first time.

On the average of 35.6 points per game, the Wolfpack had a 1,000-yard rusher for the third-straight year, two 1,000-yard receivers, and a quarterback with nearly 4,000 passing yards.

The NC State steadily rose from 63rd nationally in total offense in his first season in 2016 to 25th in 2017 and 16th in 2018.

In his final year with the Wolfpack, Eliah was a Broyles Award prospect as one of the nation’s top assistant coaches.

Wikipedia said Eliah Drinkwitz was named the head coach at Appalachian State University on December 13, 2018. He led the Mountaineers to a 12-1 record in his first season as head coach, including a Sun Belt title victory over Louisiana in 2019.
