Kolohe Andino Career
The son of a high-ranking surfer, Dino Andino, Kolohe Andino began surfing at an early age as he followed his father on surfing trip; By the age of eight, Andino had already started recruiting sponsors who wished to represent him. While in high school, he kept the surfer coach Mike Parsons as his coach. At the age of 15, Andino became the youngest winner in the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) tournament and held the NSSA tournament record won by a male rival, nine in total. That same year, Andino also won two USA Surfing titles in Lower Trestles in the Under 16 and Under 18 competitions.
Andino event in 2011 when he won both the ASP 6-Star Quiksilver Brazil Open of Surfing and the Vans Pier Classic world tour events. On January 8, 2015, he won the first World Surf League (WSL) event, the World Surf League Surf City Pro held in Huntington Beach, California.

In 2019, Andino qualified to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics by searching to finish as one of America’s top players in the 2019 World Surf League and one of the top ten athletes. He is the first U.S. supplier. He once competed in the Olympics. In the Olympics, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Kanoa Igarashi of Japan. In February 2021, while preparing for the annual WSL competition season, Andino cleared his right ankle and sustained an injury the following month, forcing him to undergo surgery and withdrawing an Australian leg from the trip.
