Kolohe Andino Career

The son of a high-ranking surfer, Dino Andino, Kolohe Andino began surfing at an early age as he followed his father on surfing trip; By the age of eight, Andino had already started recruiting sponsors who wished to represent him. While in high school, he kept the surfer coach Mike Parsons as his coach. At the age of 15, Andino became the youngest winner in the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) tournament and held the NSSA tournament record won by a male rival, nine in total. That same year, Andino also won two USA Surfing titles in Lower Trestles in the Under 16 and Under 18 competitions.
