Molly Brown Early Life
Molly Brown was born on July 18, 1867, in Hannibal, Missouri, United States. Her full name is “Margaret Brown (Tobin)” which is her birth name. Likewise, she was born in a hospital near the Mississippi River which is also known as “Denkler’s Alley”.
Besides, Brown is a daughter of Irish Catholic immigrants John Tobin (Father) and Johanna (Collins) Tobin (Mother). Both of the parents of Margaret’s loves always support her from the beginning until they died as young adults.
Furthermore, Molly grew up with her 3 brothers (Daniel Tobin, William Tobin, and Michael Tobin) and a sister named Helen Tobin. She also has two half-sisters from her father and mother’s first marriage named (Catherine Bridget Tobin and Mary Ann Collins).
When Brown was18 years old, she moved to Leadville, Colorado with her brother Daniel and sister Mary Ann.

Molly Brown Death
Molly Brown died on October 26, 1932, in her sleep at 10:55 p.m. She was staying at Barbizon Hotel located in New York City. An initial report said that her death was caused by a brain tumor.
After the death, her body was buried alongside J.J Brown in the Cemetery of Holy Rood located in Westbury, New York.

Molly Brown used to work in a department store which was her first-ever job after moving to Colorado. But after marrying James Joseph Brown then she became a member of the Denver Woman’s Club after a successful family mining business.
Saying that the club’s mission was to make improvements in Women’s life by providing education and philanthropy. Since then Molly helped tons of club members so that they can have a better life.
Moreover, Brown was also involved in fundraising and other more social work. She helps Denver’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Judge Ben Lindsey in fundraising and assists destitute children.
Apart from this, Molly also ran for the U.S senate back in 1914 but later on, she has to return back to France after the campaign ended. After that, brown worked with the “American Committee for Devastated France” which is during World War I to rebuild the places behind the front line.

Molly Brown was happily married to her husband James Joseph Brown who was a mining engineer and inventor. There is no information of their first met but the couple gets married on September 1, 1886, at Annunciation Chruch.
From their marriage, they have two children named Catherine Ellen Brown (1889-1969) and Lawrence Palmer-Brown (1887-1949).
