Nordine Oubaali made his professional debut against Sergey Tasimov on March 20, 2014, at 555 Famous Club in Marrakech, Morocco. Oubaali was declared the winner by unanimous decision. He won the French bantamweight title after knocking out his opponent Hassan Azaouag in the first round of his fifth battle at Espace Francois Mitterrand in Hénin-Beaumont, France.

On December 17, 2016, Oubaali defeated Julio Ceasar Miranda to win the WBA Inter-Continental bantamweight title at Gymnase du Clos de l’Arche in Noisy-le-Grand, France. On the 2nd of June 2017, he fought Alejandro Hernandez for the vacant WBC Silver bantamweight title at the Palais des Sports Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.

He won the fight by TKO and retained the title in his next fight against Mark Anthony Geraldo on December 16, 2017.

On January 19, 2019, Oubaali defeated Rau’shee Warren to win the WBC bantamweight title at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada, USA. He defended his championship against Arthur Villanueva and Takuma Inoue two more times. Nordine Oubaali will defend his WBC bantamweight title against Nonito Donaire on May 29, 2021, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, United States.
