Career

Pablo Prigoini began playing basketball when he was in high school. In the 1995-96 season, he made his professional debut with the Ramallo in the Argentine LNB League. Prigioni transferred to Belgrano San Nicolas after a season with the squad before relocating to Obras Sanitarias in 1998. Pablo declared for the NBA draft in 1999 but was not selected.

Pablo Prigoini relocated to Spain and signed with Fuenlabrada. He spent two seasons with the squad before moving to Lucentum Alicante. He began playing for Baskonia in 2003 and remained with the team until 2009. Pablo won four Spanish Supercups and three Spanish Cups during his career with the squad. Pablo was selected the Most Valuable Player in the 2006 Spanish Cup.

Pablo joined Real Madrid in 2009. He was a member of the team until 2011 when he moved on to Baskonia for a season. Prigioni signed a one-year rookie minimum contract with the New York Knicks in 2012. He became the NBA’s oldest rookie ever. In 2013, the footballer resigned from the team. In 2015, Prigioni signed a one-year contract with the Houston Rockets before joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

Prigioni spent his final season in the Spanish league with Baskonia before joining the Brooklyn Nets as an assistant coach in 2018. Prigioni was hired as an assistant coach by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2019.
