High School Highlights

Quincy Guerrier attended Thetford Academy and was a part of the basketball team for five years. Guerrier received several offers from larger schools but turned them down. Guerrier was entitled the most valuable player (MVP) at the BioSteel All-Canadian Game in 2018.

Guerrier was a part of the Amateur Athletic Union circuit, where he participated for Brookwood Elite and CIA Bounce. In his final season, Guerrier set an average of 24.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Ultimately, Guerrier settled to play for Syracuse University discarding the offers from Illinois and Oregon University.

College and National Team Highlights

Quincy Guerrier joined Syracuse University later in the next semester since he presented his documents to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in January 2019. Guerrier set a record of season-high 16points and ten rebounds as a freshman. Despite his performances, the team lost to NC State in a 79-74. 

In his freshman season, he set an average of 6.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and became the sixth man on the team. However, he suffered a muscle tear in his groin and had to undergo surgery on June 2.

After his surgery, Guerrier played against Buffalo and secured a win in overtime, scoring 27-point and 11-rebound. In addition, he also played against Northeastern with an 18-point, 16-rebound win. Later on December 21, Guerrier was entitled ACC Player of the Week.

In his sophomore season, Guerrier set an average of 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game and played four 20-point games and eight double-doubles. On May 20, 2021, Guerrier announced that he would transfer to Oregon University after being named the Third Team All-ACC.

The athlete has also appeared at international events. In the 2016 FIBA Under-17 World Championship, Guerrier represented Canada and appeared in four games. He set an average of 5.5 points and two rebounds per game.
