Song was later confirmed to fight “Frankie Saenz” at UFC Fight Night 141 on November 24, 2018. He ended up pulling out of the event due to an injury on November 7, 2018, and was substituted by a newcomer called “Vince Morales“. He was declared the winner by unanimous vote.
On December 7 of 2019, Song fought “Cody Stamann”. After the third round, the fight was declared a draw. Song Yadong recently battled “Marlon Vera” in a featherweight bout at UFC on ESPN: Overeem vs. Harris on May 16, 2020. Song was declared the winner by a majority decision.
