    Stewart Elliott was born on March 1, 1965, in Toronto, Canada. Elliot grew up riding horses where his father was a jockey, and his mother was also a horse ridder, and his uncle owns a horse stable in Canada. He was well introduced to the horses at an early age. His family afterward moved to Hong Kong, where they stayed for six years before they move to the United States.  

    Elliott started his career at the age of 16, and he is the 36th ridder to get the 5000th victory. In 2017 he achieved the George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award. From here, he had a fantastic journey. He got his first award in 2004 as the ABC NEWS Person of the Week (2004).

    In 2004 Elliott became the first jockey in twenty-five years to win the Kentucky Derby in his first arrival, which is a prestigious award held in the United States for two weeks. In the same year, he was awarded ABC news person of the week. He even received the award of Best Jockey ESPY Award in the same year. In 2010 he was awarded the prestigious Avellino Gomez Memorial Award. And following that, in 2017, he received George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award. These are the big awards he got throughout his career.

    In his 90s, he won two races Melaleuca Stakes, Demoiselle Stakes, and in 2004 he boomed his Carrier by winning seven titles Arkansas Derby. Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash, Maryland Million Classic, Remsen Stakes, Sorority Stakes, Tempted Stakes. from 2005-2006, he won 6 titles Acorn Stakes, Fantasy Stakes, Blue Hen Stakes, Azeri Breeders’ Cup Stakes, Essex Handicap Southwest Stakes. In 2008-2009 he won 4 titles Affectionately Handicap, Astoria Stakes, Long Branch Stakes, Woodbine Oaks. Do note that these are only considered to be his biggest achievements.
