Tuukka Rask started his career from his hometown club SaPKo located in Savonlinna, Finland. He played all most 28 games for the IIves Jr in the Finnish junior league.
After a successful year playing for Tempere, Tuukka was later on drafted by Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1st round on the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. But he didn’t get a chance to play regular-season because Rask was later traded to Boston Bruins in 2007 in exchange with Andrew Raycroft (Calder Memorial Trophy winner).
Likewise, Rask stayed in Boston till 2012, and during that time, he played an excellent game while and titled “Rookie of the year”. He manages to bring several trophies for his team as a goaltender.
Similarly, Tuukka also competed in Starter and Vezina trophy season from 2012 till 2014. He signed a $3.4 million contract with the Bruins for 1 year. After a successful year, Rask later again signed a $56 million contract for 8 years.
