    Aubrey Huff is a former professional baseball player hailing the United States who spent 13 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Huff was a player of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, and San Francisco Giants, winning two World Series championships with the latter. Huff batted with his left hand and threw with his right.

    Aubrey Huff was born on the 20th of December, 1976 in Marion, Ohio, United States of America (USA). His father, Aubrey II, was fatally shot as an innocent victim in a domestic disturbance while working as an electrician in 1983, when he was six years old. Huff’s mother, Fonda, was left to raise him and his sister, Angela. Huff used to play baseball in his backyard, which included a batting cage with lights and a pitching machine.

    Aubrey Huff was a married man. Huff married Barbara “Baubi” Heaton on January 27, 2007. They have two sons together. During Huff’s playing days, they spent their off-seasons in Tampa, Florida. On January 31, 2012, Baubi Huff filed for divorce. Despite a brief reconciliation, the couple divorced, and Huff believed that women would only marry him for the money.

    Huff played baseball for Vernon College for two years and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1996. For the last two years of his college baseball career, he moved to the University of Miami. He matched team single-game records for runs in a game and doubles in a game as a junior.

    Huff was drafted in the fifth round of the 1998 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He batted.321 in 69 games for the Charleston RiverDogs of the single-A South Atlantic League in 1998, with 85 hits, 19 doubles, 13 home runs, and 54 RBI.

    As of 2012, Huff was ranked in the top ten in multiple career and single-season records for the Tampa Bay Rays (Devil Rays from 1998–2007). He was third in matches played (799), at bats (3,028), plate appearances (3,322), hits (870), and doubles (870) behind Carl Crawford and B. J. Upton through 2012. (172).
