Beiwen Zhang Career

Beiwen grew up in Anshan, Liaoning, China. Zhang played Badminton at the provincial level in her home country before following her regional coach in Singapore at 13 and played with the Singapore National Team until 2012, when she moved to the United States for training. In 2009, she was part of the Singapore national badminton team, winning a bronze medal at the 2009 Southeast Women’s Games team event. After a one-year hiatus where she never played in the tournament, in 2013, she returned to reach the top level again.
