Gordie had 53 hits, 20 RBIs, and six home runs in 2002. After that, he had 54 hits, 28 RBIs, and 7 home runs in 2005. Gordie Gronkowski Jr. was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 49th round (1470th overall) of the 2006 MLB June Amateur Draft from Jacksonville University. Following that, in 2008, he was signed as a frontier by independent Southern Illinois after only two years. Gorden is a right-handed hitter and thrower who was scouted by Tom Kotchman.

Gorden retired from baseball after six years in the lower leagues.
