College Highlights

Jaden Ivey did not have the ideal start of his freshman season. In his early freshman season, he suffered a foot injury, which led to Ivey missing a total of five games; however, the injury did not stop him.

Ivey returned for future games, and on January 19, 2021, he went against Ohio State. Ivey contributed with a game-winning three-pointer in the last five seconds of the game, scoring 15 points and a win 67-65. Two months later, Ivey set a season-high 26 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and a win against North Texas. 

Ivey set an average of 11.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in his freshman season, which earned him the Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors.

National Team Highlights

Jaden Ivey played in the national team for the United States at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. He set an average of 12.3 points per game in the tournament, ultimately helping his team win the gold medal. Ivey and his team won against Turkey, scoring a team-high 21 points.
