    Kihei Clark Early Life

Kihei is the oldest son of Malik and Sharon Clark and was born in Tarzana, California, on January 25, 2000. He is presently 21 years old and has an astrological sign of Aquarius.

His mother is Filipino, and his father is Chinese and black. Malik proposed to Sharon in Kihei, Hawaii, and their son was named after that place.

Kihei played soccer and martial arts until he was eight years old when he decided to devote his time to basketball. Maybe his father encouraged him to begin practicing the sport because Malik was also a collegiate basketball player who played for Hawaii–Hilo of the NCAA Division II. Malik established a construction and trucking business later in his life.

Sharon’s family was from Ilocos but moved to Hawaii; consequently, he is of Filipino ancestry. Nalu and Shaka are Kihei’s brothers.

Cameron Boyce, a boyhood friend, was someone he used to play with regularly. When Kihei was younger, he was inspired by NBA players Steve Nash and Chris Paul.

In addition, he was mentored by Adam Mazarei, a future NBA assistant coach for the Memphis Grizzlies, while playing youth travel basketball for Kings Academy in the Conejo Valley. Clark went to the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, a K–12 private school in eighth grade.

At the moment, school athletic director Byrd Newman-Milic stated that Kihei “could probably start for (the basketball team) right now.”

Two days later, he created a 40-foot pass that let teammate Mamadi Diakite hit a buzzer-beating jumper and force OT in an Elite Eight matchup against third-seeded Purdue.

His five assists were vital in Virginia’s 80–75 victory. On April 8, he had three points and four assists in 33 minutes to help his team defeat third-seeded Texas Tech in the national championship game.

As a freshman, the young talent began 20 games, averaging 4.5 points and 2.6 assists in 26.8 minutes per game.
