He started his football career with Bankstown’s St Christopher’s Soccer Club before going to Sydney Olympic and Marconi.

When he was just 14 years old, Terry Antonis signed a five-year deal with Everton. However, his contract was canceled due to FIFA’s regulation forbidding players under 18 from transferring abroad.

Terry made his Sydney debut against the Macarthur Rams at Campbelltown Stadium on June 22, 2010. Then, on July 5, 2010, Sydney agreed to a three-year contract.

On September 11, 2010, He made his competitive debut for Sydney FC in a 2–1 loss against Wellington Phoenix. He netted his first goal for Sydney FC against Adelaide United on February 16, 2013.

After signing with Sydney FC, Terry Antonis traveled to Europe for a trial with a german team Borussia Mönchengladbach. Dutch club FC Utrecht also approached him for a trial after the 2012–13 season.

However, after Parma activated a release clause in his contract with Sydney, he signed a four-year deal with the Italian Serie A team. Terry, though, returned to Sydney FC after the transfer fell through.

In 2015, he joined the Greek team PAOK and debuted in the Greek Cup match away to Chania on December 3. Similarly, an Australian made his Greek Super League debut on February 21, 2016, away to Panathinaikos.

On August 31, Terry moved to Veria FC on a season-long loan after failing to take his place into starting 11. He made his first appearance there on October 16.

He returned to PAOK after his loan term at Veria, only to be loaned out to Western Sydney Wanderers FC for the remainder of the 2016–17 A-League season. On January 28, 2017, he made his Wanderers debut in an away encounter against the Brisbane Roar.

PAOK made it obvious to him after his brief loan stays with the Wanderers that he was not in their plans. As a result, Terry signed a two-year contract with VVV-Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie on July 8, 2017.

Unfortunately, he didn’t get a single chance to demonstrate himself for Venlo that season and transferred to Melbourne Victory on a 2.5-year contract in 2018. Terry Antonis made 40 appearances for Melbourne before moving on to Suwon Samsung Bluewings of the K-League.

He returned to the Wanderers at the beginning of the 2021/22 season on a three-year deal from Bluewings.

Terry was a familiar figure to Wanderers fans throughout the 2016/17 season, appearing in the club’s third AFC Champions League campaign and the A-League Finals Series.

Terry was named to the final roster for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, although he did not play. He was named to Australia’s U-23 national team manager Aurelio Vidmar’s selections for the Olympic Games 2016 qualifiers in Doha on December 23, 2015.
