Miloš joined the Japanese team Yokohama F. Marinos on January 26, 2017, four months before his contract with the German club. On February 25, 2017, he made his Yokohama debut against Urawa Red Diamonds in the season’s first game.

He cemented himself in the starting eleven for the side after making his debut in Japan and started every match until Miloš Degenek went to join his national squad for the FIFA Confederations Cup. He also contributed to the team’s 14-match unbeaten streak.

Miloš signed Red Star Belgrade on July 5, 2018, signing a three-year contract with the Serbian club.

Miloš Degenek made his new club’s debut against Spartaks Jūrmalain in the first game of the first qualifying round for the 2018–19 Champions League season, playing as a center-back alongside Vujadin Savi.

Miloš provided two assists to El Fardou Ben Nabouhane in a 2–2 draw with RB Salzburg on August 29, 2018, advancing Belgrade to the 2018–19 UCL.

Miloš Degenek played the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 win over Liverpool in a group stage during that season.

During the northern hemisphere winter break, Miloš Degenek was sold to Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal. Six months before the 2019-20 season, the Saudi club sold him back to Red Star. In the next two years, he became a regular starter for Belgrade.
