Kid Galahad took up boxing to keep himself off the streets and avoid following in his siblings’ footsteps, who ended up in jail and embroiled in gang violence.

However, he observed a boxing ring once he started coming to his local gym to get bigger. After a few minutes of shadow boxing, he decided to become a professional boxer one day.

Galahad and his mother found the Brendan Ingle gym following a fortuitous meeting with his hero Prince Naseem Hamed, who advised him that if he wanted to be excellent in boxing and a champion, he should train there.

On September 5, 2009, Galahad made his professional debut when he defeated Delroy Spencer on points at the Colosseum in Watford, England.

Since then, he has had a professional boxing record of 30 fights, 28 wins, and 2 losses, with 17 wins by knockout and 11 by decision. Similarly, one loss by knockout and another one by decision. Unfortunately, he served a ban from boxing due to doping from 2014 to 2016.

He went 10–0 before winning the WBC International super-bantamweight championship by unanimous decision over Jason Booth on February 18, 2012.

Galahad defeated Sergio Prado in a unanimous 12-round decision on March 22, 2014, to win the European super-bantamweight championship.

Galahad defeated Fred Mundraby by corner retirement after round 4 on May 10, 2014, to claim the vacant Commonwealth super-bantamweight title.

He earned his first title since returning to the ring on July 15, 2017, claiming the vacant IBF Intercontinental featherweight championship.

He defeated Jazza Dickens on August 7, 2021, to claim his first world title, the vacant IBF featherweight belt. However, Dickens’ corner refused to continue the fight at the end of the 11th round because of the punishment he was receiving.

Nevertheless, he held the IBF featherweight title between August and November 2021.
